We are seeking a Senior Family Lawyer in Gold Coast with at least 4+ years of Family Law to join our fun and supportive teams as we continue to grow.

About the Role:

As a Family Lawyer working for AFL, you will work closely with the Practice Lead for Gold Coast as well as partner with a large team of experienced and dedicated colleagues nationally. A typical day will include:

• Advising clients in relation to divorce & separation, property settlements, child support related matters, relocations and de-facto and same sex couples
• Regular client contact that is empathetic and service and outcome focused
• Building & maintaining strong client relationships
• Business development including building solid referral networks
• File Management
• Supporting and supervising junior staff
• Liaising with a national team of highly experienced family layers in all aspects of day to day matters including professional practice.

About You:

You will be an experienced Family Lawyer with 4+ years’ post admission experience in Family Law. You will be goal orientated and be keen to contribute to our existing success, building excellent networks and rapport within your region and achieving exceptional outcomes for your clients and AFL. Possessing strong business acumen, you will understand the importance of managing time, achieving commercial outcomes, and be disciplined in debtor and time management. You will:

• Have a positive “can-do attitude” with proven experience in running your own cases and file management.
• Be goal oriented in achieving exceptional outcomes for clients and AFL.
• Possess strong business acumen and understand the importance of managing time, achieving commercial outcomes, and be disciplined in debtor and time management.
• Love to thrive on creating productive networks and referral relationships in your area.
