About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Solicitor in Sydney (1–3 years PAE) to join our Sydney CBD Wills & Estates team, with a focus on contested estates and estate litigation.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside accredited specialists and senior lawyers, gaining hands-on experience in complex matters while building a strong foundation in Wills & Estates law.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of estate litigation and contested wills matters
- Draft court documents, affidavits, correspondence, and legal submissions
- Conduct legal research and contribute to case strategy
- Prepare for mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Liaise with clients, counsel, and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate file management and compliance standards
- Manage competing priorities to deliver high-quality client outcomes
- Build strong internal and client relationships
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- 1–3 years post-admission experience (PAE) in Wills & Estates (preferred)
- Admission to practice in Australia and a Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent)
- Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
- A proactive attitude and commitment to professional development
- Previous experience as a Paralegal, Law Clerk or Legal Assistant (advantageous)
